Beaumont Company Candlesticks - Set of 2 Ferlux Candle Holders - Depression Era Semi-Translucent Glass - Hand Painted

$29.95

Here's a wonderful pair of one-light candlesticks I picked in the Pittsburgh area. These pretties are from the Beaumont Company of Morgantown, West Virginia. They were made in the 1920s or early 1930s, and they measure about 5 inches high with a 4 1/2 inch diameter scalloped base. These pieces are in Beaumont's unusual Ferlux color. The semi-translucent color was originally developed for the manufacture of lighting goods and was then adapted into tableware. These have a popular, hand-painted floral decoration that was common for Ferlux pieces. Identification and amplifying info found in Felt/Stoer (V1, pg 20-21). Both pieces are in excellent condition, free from any chips or cracks. There is a bit of wear to the hand -painted decoration. Both pieces for one low price.

Shipping Policy

I do combine shipping when possible for smaller items and refund shipping overages if they’re over $1.50. Note, many large items cannot be combined into one box and must be shipped separately to give them the best chance of making their way to you safely. I’m not trying to make money off of shipping charges, and will do my best to provide you with the lowest possible cost. I strive to ship items no later than the following business day. Items are generally shipped USPS priority mail which includes $50 insurance. All items are carefully packaged. If an item is damaged during shipping, please take pictures, save all packing materials, and let me know immediately so a claim can be filed with the shipper. The onus of filing the claim will fall upon the buyer. The post office has been requesting that damaged items and associated packing materials be brought in for inspection, and it is not possible for me, as the shipper, to do so. If you prefer an alternate shipping method please send me a message to discuss options.

Sometimes Priority Mail shipping is cost prohibitive (especially for those on the West Coast). Send me a message and we’ll see if Flat Rate shipping is possible. Prices for this service is generally about $21 for a “Large” box and about $15.00 for a “Medium” box. Note that USPS Flat Rate boxes aren’t that big, so this might not be an option when purchasing larger items.

Very Important Info About Returns/Refunds

All items are described as accurately as possible, and I do my best to note any damage. Most of my items are twenty or more years old and may show wear consistent with age/use. I try to provide many detailed pictures which serve as part of the description, and I encourage you to ask any questions prior to purchase. I do not accept returns, and generally do not provide refunds. But there are occasionally exceptions. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason please reach out right away so that we can try to reach an amicable solution, I want you to be happy with and enjoy your purchase!
