Featured here is a 10-inch green transferware plate celebrating the 75th anniversary of the incorporation of the small town of Red Lion Pennsylvania. These collectible plates were popular in the 1950s and citizens of small towns across the nation, as a sign of civic pride in their hometown, purchased and proudly displayed these mementos of the celebrated milestone. The graphics on this plate are as fine as the day it was produced, bright and bold. A brief narrative of the town is on the reverse. The plate was produced by W.L. Zimmerman and Sons of Intercourse, PA.
