Yashica-D Twin Lens Reflex Camera

Sorry, this item has sold.

Featured is a Yashica-D twin lens reflex camera made by Yashica Co., Ltd. between 1958 – 1972. This was made with the company’s Yashikor lenses. The “D” is Yashica’s top of the line, knob wind, meterless TLR. This model was In production for more than 14 years, this type of camera is very desirable and collectible for the great build quality, reliable operation, and excellent optics.

Overall, the camera is in wonderful condition. There is a bit of rubbing and a couple scuffs, but they all add to its character. There is some engraving on the right side (see photo 2), and the bracket that connects to the film access panel is missing one screw completely and has another replacement screw temporarily in place (see photos 2 and 4).

Also included are also viewing lens #1 and taking lens #1, a leather Rollei case in which to store them, and the classic Yashica neck strap (see last photo).

Note - I have never loaded this camera with film and never taken pictures with it. I cannot vouch for its operation. I have noted the defects my amateur eye could recognize. Everything else seems to be in place and functional.
